Roasting a chicken is a timeless classic, perfect for Sunday lunches or family gatherings. We'll walk you through preparation, from seasoning the bird to achieving golden, crispy skin.



Cooking instructions:

 

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F)

  • Rub the chicken generously with olive oil, salt, pepper, and fresh herbs like thyme and rosemary

  • Roast the chicken for about 1.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy

  • Once roasted, let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving, allowing all those delectable juices to settle
