We won Midlands Butchers Champion for the second year running!

THANK YOU TO OUR FANTASTIC CUSTOMERS FOR VOTING FOR US AGAIN!

For the second consecutive year we are absolutely delighted and proud to be awarded the coveted title of ‘Champion Butcher’ for the Midlands region by the Countryside Alliance.

The CCA Awards, also known as the ‘Rural Oscars’, celebrate and promote the benefits of businesses who successfully serve their communities, particularly in more rural areas.

Paul and Catriona will attend the House of Lords in June at a prestigious ceremony where they will be presented with their Midlands award. We also have a chance of winning the national award which is really exciting. The judging panel for the national accolade includes food critic and author William Sitwell (you might have seen him on Masterchef!), Daily Telegraph Associate Editor Philip Johnston and the Countryside Alliance Chief Executive Tim Bonner.

For those who don't know us, we started over five years ago in a small, converted barn on a farm on the outskirts of Yoxall in Staffordshire. Since then we have expanded and moved into larger premises so we have an extensive delicatessen counter and dedicated kitchen (where the home-made magic happens!). We employ a growing team and attract customers from all over the county and beyond.

Paul and the team are committed to providing the very best quality meat alongside fresh fruit and vegetables and the thriving, popular deli counter serves cheese, pâté, cured meats, home-made pasties, sausage rolls, pork pie, quiche, and lots of other treats.

Paul commented: “I have a fantastic team around me and I am very grateful to them all – particularly John Randall who has been with me since day one. Most importantly this award reflects our loyal customer base who voted for us and helped us to win”
