Who doesn't love to know what other people are cooking and eating? There are lots of TV shows, magazines, social platforms and podcasts that are all about our favourite food - which shows we are a nation of proper foodies. That's why we've started the hunt for your 'Family Favourites'. Here's more...

We're looking for savoury recipes that you and your family love. They can be simple and traditional, quick and easy, or complex and unusual. We're open to all of your ideas so send us your favourites and we'll add them to the website, social media posts and in our newsletters.

We're very keen to know what you enjoy to eat, from snacks to banquets, with or without meat - whatever you get excited about - from the best fishfinger sandwich to your failsafe, incredible shoulder of lamb that no one wants to miss out on.

Every month, the recipe we are most inspired by will receive a copy of the Hairy Bikers' Family Favourites book. It's a brilliant book and a good way to remind ourselves of the friendship and support we had from the late, wonderful Dave Myers.

A few ground rules:

  • You choose how you want to send your recipes, they're yours after all. Handwritten, typed, emailed, dropped in to the shop - it's up to you

  • You can use any measuring system you like, from cups, spoons, grams to ounces, pinches and handfuls. There are some useful convertor apps available so everyone can cook how they prefer.

  • All recipes must be savoury dishes (starters, mains, snacks, brunch, party food, anything!)

  • The recipe must be something you cook and not directly copied from a published source
